Sport

Laerskool Bekker is ‘n uitstaande skool wat op sportgebied jaarliks baie goed presteer en ook wegstap met verskeie trofeës en toekennings. Alhoewel ‘wen’ belangrik is word daar gefokus op deelname en is ons een van die weinige skole in die distrik wat ook B-spanne in al ons sportsoorte toelaat om deel te neem.

Toegewyde afrigters verseker dat beide die seuns- en dogterssport kwaliteit afrigting ontvang. Erkenning word aan leerders toegeken wat op sportgebied presteer. Die skool beskik oor al die nodige toerusting en geriewe om elke sportsoort na sy volle reg te laat kom.

Sport forms an integral part of life at Bekker. It provides the learners with the opportunity to show their talents. Bekker Primary offers both summer and winter sports, with specialist teachers and coaches.  Bekker has well maintained sports facilities. Sport is offered at both the competitive  and the recreational level as all learners are encouraged to participate. Our emphasis is on the enjoyment of sport. 

Learners are rewarded for their efforts though team awards, merit awards, half colours as well as full colours. Learners also receive awards for participation, dedication and commitment.
